Some honeys tell you where they came from. This one has a love story to tell.

Our Fifth Generation Will You Marri Me? is a raw Marri honey gathered from the forests of Bedfordale. Country our family has called home for five generations.

But the name belongs to a much earlier chapter of that story.

Our grandfather was the third generation to grow up here. A true bushman at heart, he was raised amongst Bedfordale’s orchards, Marri forests and the old families who worked this land. Beekeepers were part of this country even then, tending their hives as the Marri came into flower.

And somewhere amongst it all was a girl he loved.

The scene on our label, a young man down on one knee beside a young woman, with Bedfordale’s old water wheel nearby, isn’t simply a nostalgic picture of days gone by. It represents our grandparents, and a rather special question Grandpa asked Grandma right here in Bedfordale.

There’s a little more to that story… but we’ll save that for another day.

Deep amber and beautifully smooth, this honey carries the rich character of Marri blossom, with a full-bodied sweetness, warm caramel notes and a gentle lingering finish.

Unfiltered and unprocessed, it’s raw honey as it should be, shaped by the blossom, the bees and the country it came from.
